Kait and Steve are a unique pair and perfect match! The two met at a mutual friend's wedding in North Carolina and instantly felt a connection. Their love traveled many miles over time as Kaitlyn lived in North Carolina and Stephen lived in Calgary - all the way in Alberta, Canada! As soon as they knew they both seriously wanted to pursue a relationship with each other, they promised to visit each other once a month. How sweet is that?!

After praying for each other and cultivating a deep friendship and very real love, Stephen proposed and the rest is history! Congratulations, you two! Let me know if you ever need a photographer in the future...I would *LOVE* to visit and document your future milestones :)

It's a Canadian tradition to sign the marriage license during the ceremony!

I took Amanda's portraits a little while back this summer and she loved them SO much she asked me to take portraits of her and her mom when she came to visit! Cheri flew all the way from Minnesota to see Amanda here in North Carolina.

Despite the humid Carolina weather, we had a great time exploring E. Carroll Joyner Park and capturing those special moments between a mother and daughter. I hope you both will cherish the wonderful memories you made during the visit and these images for years to come!

Here are a few of my favorites from their session!

I met Haley and Larry through my husband Ryan's family - Haley is Ryan's cousin! This sweet couple were engaged earlier this year and asked if I could be the one to take their engagement photos so OF COURSE I said yes!

These two are exuberant! It was such a joy to be able to capture them in this way despite the *extreme* humidity and mosquito war zone we battled through. (I think I counted at least 14 mosquito bites...)

I am SO looking forward to celebrating their wedding day with them ~as a guest!~ next April and watching their love grow throughout the coming years. Many joyous blessings to you, Haley & Larry!
